शब-बाश

वक्त निकाल, बैठ कभी तन्हाई में।

हो तू मेरी, मैं तेरी परछाई में।।

हो जाएंगे शब-बाश, चढ़ते महताब के तले,

बस सर्द हवा में, तेरी, गर्म सांसें सुनाई दें।।

Glossary:
शब-बाश = staying overnight, cherishing nights of togetherness
महताब = चांद, moon

This is for the times when we realise that though we have known each other for years, it’s always interesting to learn more about the other one.
Also to point out, no time is enough to have each other and no time is less to cherish the bond.

We are busy with what we are doing at all other fronts but cherishing the bond is relaxing and celebratory.

Celebrations must not cease!

तू रू-ब-रू

ना करूंगा तेरे आने का ज़िक्र, कि तेरी तरफ़ से पहल हो।

शहर दूर इतना भी नहीं तेरा, कि राह में दश्त या जबल हो।

आजा तू रू-ब-रू, होने दे पलकें भारी,

पर पलकें झपकने ना पायें, कि दीदार बे-ख़लल हो।।

Glossary:
दश्त = जंगल, forest
जबल = पहाड़, mountain
रू-ब-रू = आमने-सामने, face to face
बे-ख़लल = बाधा रहित, without any interruption

This is for the times when you are having a tough time in your own head for the distance is testing your patience.

It’s for the craving to affection and annoyance to adorable catching up.

Have faith. It shall be okay.

दिलासा

लिपटी रहती है चुप्पी, सर्द रातों के साये में,

गूंजती हैं खामोशियां, तन्हा रूह के परछाए में।

क़हर बर्पा सन्नाटों पर, जो तोड़ने लगे दम,

दिलासा ही दे जा तू, “फिर मिलेंगे हम”।।

This is when it’s been or it feels like an age when you’ve seen the other one. The nights have turned darker and more lonely. You want him/her to be with you even if you two are busy with anything (even not mutually inclusive), but just the sight of that person at an arm’s length is warm enough to keep you sane and feeling adored.

May these tough times pass by soon.

Missing you, Mom!

These skies are high,

I swear them I don’t lie.

I’m missing u so much.

I really don’t know..Why?

I’m enjoying the nature,

Not at all worried about future.

I know that u must be missing me too,

that’s d best life that can be owned by this creature.

Steep valleys are here,

my friends are near

Still there is a loneliness,

that i just can’t bear.

I wish u were here and be with me

Heaven! plz hear it, its from my heart-a plea

I’m crying within my heart that u can feel at a distance

and, none else can even see.

In the clouds I see you.

In my heart I feel you.

Don’t make fun of my feelings,

It’s really really true.

I know that God won’t fulfil this desire,

For, when he sees our bond he, too, burns into fire.

but I’m thankful to the same God and pray to him,

that from your life he never makes me retire.

Nothing can separate us be it money or an emotional storm.

It is a token of love to my dearest, loving, caring, affectionate & understanding MOM.
